Job Responsibilities:

• Update existing engineering drawings for electrical and mechanical devices
• Produce accurate blueprints from engineering prototypes, sketches, instructions
• Complete engineering changes and print revisions
• Maintain print storage: card files, engineering server, scanner
• Uses precision measuring tools and/or works with tool inspection to create part drawings
• Transcribes electrical schematics for Electrical Engineer

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
• Documented proof of intermediate experience/schooling using AutoCAD software
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints; mechanical and electrical
• Proficient math skills

Highly Preferred:

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  
• The team member may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Generally, works in a typical office setting but will be required to perform some job duties in a plant environment
• While performing the duties of this job in the plant, the team member may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic
• The team member may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures in the plant
• The noise level in the plant is frequently loud
