Our retail team is busy planning and delivering the National Trust's product and supplier strategy, managing sales of £30m per year - and this is only set to grow.
Prioritising our long-term commercial growth plans alongside ensuring our offer is competitive and matches current market trends, this role is an exciting yet challenging opportunity.
Your contractual location will be Heelis , however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

You'll will be responsible for growing the business commercially and in new and innovative directions, identifying new opportunities and exploiting them to meet budgets.
You'll be responsible for creating ranges that link back to cause, engaging both the organisation and our supporters - and in turn extending the Trust’s reach and emotional connection to our audiences.
You'll be a strong negotiator and will build solid relationships, especially with the merchandising team, to achieve optimum results through effective strategic management of the team, budget and supply base. You will be flexible and have positive attitude. You will be responsible for multiple categories and lead your team of an Assistant buyer and Buyers admin.
The successful candidate will be an experienced buyer with experience of and/or a passion for one or more of the product categories – Garden, Home, Fashion Accessories or Food.
