ABOUT THE ROLE
- Act as Content Business Lead on wider transformational change projects and more strategic projects affecting UK&I systems integration and Group content capability. Includes shaping business cases, influencing high level design, mapping current and future processes, specifying business requirements, testing, embedding changes and realising benefits into business.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within UK&I and Content colleagues in other markets and strive for optimal outcomes for projects.
- Manage team and IT resources to ensure hotel type content is produced to the shortest timescale, highest accuracy and best practice standards.
- Continuously improve content creation and management processes, including evaluation of PIM and audit systems to ensure content can support all types of briefs from different holiday types to specialist use of content.
- Ensure data integrity in systems by monitoring and intercepting issues, managing bulk data changes related to exceptional activities such as crises, rebranding, SEO initiatives. This includes providing test systems and data, writing user stories and acceptance criteria for content related changes.
- Maintain and optimise holiday type content via multiple sources of insight, including complaints, CSQ, Content Audit, DX feedback, market research, competitor benchmarking, E-commerce feedback tools. Prioritise any ASA related content accuracy issues.
- Support Head of Content in delivering Content Strategy plan. You will support wider content team with ad hoc projects as they arise e.g. rebranding, bulk SEO changes and fulfilling brochure production at peak times.
ABOUT YOU
- We are looking for a someone who is adaptable and ready to take the lead on product content and the technology stack we work with.
- Process experience, knowledge of LEAN methodologies, with experience in influencing business and technical change.
- Project management method appreciation – Agile and more formal frameworks
- Clear communication skills, effective stakeholder management, use of simple principles even where complex, with experience working with SMEs, IT developers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, considering upstream and downstream implications to prioritise issues.
- Appreciation of various types of content along with COPE principles, while being conscious of customer touch points and UX
- Knowledge of PIM/CMS principles and integration with other systems or an aptitude to learn
- Tenacious, proactive, adaptable
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of mental agility.
