ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • Act as a key team stakeholder in the overall business strategy with market intelligence including recurrent newsletters, ad-hoc reports, specific segments deep-dives, etc. screening external sources of information (e.g Eurmonitor, phocuswright, press, etc.)
  • Co-lead in the Strategic Decision Process, optimizing existing TUI MM value proposition in different areas and collaborating in the 3YP (3-year period) process together with Finance
  • Review the attractiveness of new business (investment) opportunities, both organic and inorganic / Merges and Acquisitions (M&A), providing a deep understanding of the alternatives to address it
  • Assist to our senior management in the decision making with analytical tools and Excel models created ad-hoc
  • Lead different strategic projects from the conceptual point of view or during the pilot phase through desktop research, internal data analysis, etc. working closely with the other area leads
  • Couch and guide more junior team members, supporting the Head of Business Strategy and M&A
  • Direct stakeholder management (including senior level) & gather data and information
  • Prepare and present presentations for different forums with senior management

ABOUT YOU

 

  • Business Strategy, M&A/Private Equity or Consulting solid background. Previous sectorial and team management experience desired
  • Professional qualification, with an analytical or business background (i.e. CFA) and/or Master’s degree or equivalent in MBA/Finance desirable
  • Start-ups, innovation and/or business transformation experience advantageous 
  • Basic financial background, understanding the 3 main financial statements required (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Other languages advantageous
  • Excellent project management capabilities/experience
  • Strong drive, structured with problem-solving skills and analytical mind
  • Solid experience with Power Point and Financial modelling within Excel
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to bring innovative ideas about potential new opportunities
  • Stakeholder management experience in an international environment required
  • Capacity to work flexible working hours and under pressure
