DESCRIPTION:
The Records Management Sr. Business Project Advisor will be a key leader in the development and execution of the Records Management program. The Sr. Advisor will serve as a subject matter expert to senior leaders in key partner organizations, establishing a relationship as a trusted partner with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional action. The Sr. Advisor will provide ongoing critical analysis of Cigna's Records Management most complex processes with the goal of driving ongoing process improvement, efficiency, and optimization; to accomplish this, the Sr. Advisor will employ creative problem solving in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the program. The Sr. Advisor will partner with key leaders, including Business Champions, Technology program management, etc. to drive successful deployment and ongoing compliance with Cigna's Records Management program. The Sr. Advisor will navigate competing priorities of cross-functional partners and work via influence to advance the understanding of and compliance with our Records Management program. The Sr. Advisor will ensure that Records Management processes and standards are clearly documented and appropriately communicated; perform regular evaluations of business and technology compliance; ensure retention periods are appropriately defined and implemented; and maintain the effectiveness of the Records Management program. This position will manage multiple complex individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables; these initiatives will have a significant impact on Cigna’s Records Management objectives. It is essential that the Sr. Advisor continually consider and monitor not just their specific projects but all other in-flight work to ensure a continued holistic approach within the Records Management program. In addition, the Sr. Advisor will be enthusiastic in addressing new challenges as we continue to mature our Records Management program across the organization.

A bachelor’s degree; graduate degree and/or certification in healthcare or technology preferred;
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in health care environment and a good working knowledge of healthcare or records management/data governance

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $93,900 - $156,500, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
