The Business Project Manager oversees the project and ensures that deadlines are met. They manage all of the cross-functional work that is required to deliver a Complete Product Experience. This role is mainly internally focused, coordinating complex work across many and or various teams/dependencies.
As a Business Project Manager you make the difference. You see where there are opportunities for efficiency improvements, and you come up with solutions. For example, one of your responsibilities is to successfully onboard a new partner. You make agreements with e.g., the Product Manager and Product Owner about the planning, budget, and results. The integrator is a guardian of the process, makes sure there is a consistent way of working and is able to take the lead to ensure that the overall implementation is a success. Despite the wide variety of activities, you maintain a clear overview.
Mainly you will work as an Integrator, but also a part of your job is managing the portfolio of the department Customer & Business Solutions. You have an overview of the planning, the budget and the (to be) achieved results. You keep track of and discuss the progress with relevant stakeholders for example by doing sync sessions.
As a Business Project Manager your main activities are:
- Leading strategic and commercial implementations;
- Manage projects from the planning phase to delivery according to clear and well-maintained project plans;
- Keep track of the various activities and give status updates;
- Control the project in all aspects (scope, time, costs, risks, quality, etc.);
- Act as a point of contact for both partners and colleagues;
- Promote a productive and collaborative environment;
- Is responsible for producing a Project Plan;
• Managing the demand and portfolio management processes as well as the benefit tracking and ensuring that this is continuously up to date;
• Responsible for the project roadmap of C&BS and the performance of it;
• Responsible for executing the portfolio management process within the C&BS domain.
You will join the Business Change Centre department. We are part of the Customer & Business Solutions department, which is the commercial part of ICS. We support C&BS by executing the strategy. To remain the market leader, ICS is constantly changing. You contribute to this by acting proactively and entering the organization with a critical and open mind. This means that you prefer to create new paths instead of walking existing ones.
