POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Project Advisor plays a crucial role supporting requests of increased complexity of the Communications Experience Delivery (CED) Project Management Office. The Advisor ensures projects are aligned to key strategic initiatives and bring value to the enterprise. Projects will range in scope from process improvement and customer onboarding to working on enterprise level projects within the company.

Primary Functions

• Ensure stakeholders, team members, and all other related personnel are aware of their respective responsibilities and duties and participation in the project.
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with various roles within the organization, including, but not limited to, leadership, project sponsors, and subject matter experts and clients.  Client facing roles may be required as well.
• Responsible for resolving, determining, rationalizing, tracking, and handling the risks and problems that may arise.
• Distribute information related to the project and inform the project sponsor, team members and stakeholders about the status.
• Responsible for managing and communicating any variance or divergence from the project plans.
• Conduct project meetings and responsible for tracking and analysis.
• Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems, including facilitation of decision making required for continued progress on the project.
• Meet with management to determine solutions to business and enterprise-wide problems.
• Work with project sponsor and PMO to define project scope and objectives; develop project plan, schedule, and determine necessary resources.
• Responsible for delivery and success of assigned projects.
• Assists in facilitation of discussions with business partners both internal and external.
• Provide updates to the weekly project level report.
• Provides mentorship role to new or lesser experienced team members
• Manage cross functional relationships with business partner leads.
• Works with the PMO to understand overall fit of initiatives in the strategic timeline.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• 3-5+ years of previous project management experience with demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple projects at a time
• PMP certification preferred
• JIRA experience preferred
• Six Sigma Certification preferred
• Knowledge of Agile Framework is a plus
• Knowledge of Healthcare/pharmaceutical distribution is a plus
• Demonstrated outstanding leadership and analytical skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills;  including presentations to and negotiations with business leaders
• Demonstrated ability to craft and present clear, concise and convincing messages appropriately targeted to the specific audience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate status and issues effectively both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
