Job Description

We are looking for an Early Career Talent (ECT) Business Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence and enable the growth of the AWS Early Career Talent program in the EMEA region. As a key member of the EMEA ECT team, the Business Operations Specialist will work alongside ECT recruiters, program managers, global Business Operations, business, HR and TA stakeholders to build the infrastructure to increase the ECT team’s productivity, quality and scale as well as own critical operational inputs and outputs. The key responsibilities delivered through this role are as follows.


Key Responsibilities:

· Work with global demand collection program managers to plan and execute the regional demand collection process
· Provide reporting inputs and insights into industry team MBRs, including forecasting future performance.
· Work with regional leader to drive the annual ECT calendar and rhythm of business, including seasonal recruiting and internship peak
· Analyze performance trends and lead the continuous improvement of operational efficiency, program resourcing and strategic decision making.
· Manage regular operational reviews, requisition quality, internship evaluation and conversion processes as well as internal and external stakeholder business reviews.
· Build, implement and manage ECT operational processes and systems, including required change management to operationalize and continuously scale recruiting volumes and scope of output.
· Collaborate with Business Operations and Program Manager counterparts worldwide to implement global best practices, standardization frameworks and technology where needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Process mapping & analysis skills with the ability to perform analysis around recruiting and people metrics and trends.
· Proven ability to communicate with business and global stakeholders at all levels, including demonstrated success influencing decision makers with business insights, financial analysis and forecasting.
· Analytical mind, able to extract deep insights and generate presentable reports using Ms. Excel.
· Project & Program Management Experience, ideally in the Recruiting or HR space.
· Experience supporting several projects at one time.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and problem solve.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and comfort around new analytics tools.
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
This role can be based in the UK and Ireland. Other EMEA locations may also be considered.
