The purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of proactive-orientated operations, coordinate the best practices across all areas and bring solid process engineering through automation in order to create a foundation to scale. The Business Operations Manager is responsible to ensure a highly detailed admin organisation across our different departments, enabling open and agile communication between teams and ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in our operational processes.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
Maintain processes coherence across all areas by tracking team activities such as checking compliance of the process, highlighting inconsistencies, spot potential improvements…
Proactively suggest the need for digital tools and automation of repetitive tasks.
Coordinator of Best Practices across all areas
Support admin team in collecting relevant data from within the company and from internal clients in order to maintain the company´s repositories
Support operations team in admin tasks until automation is established. These tasks are crucial to understanding the base, processes and needs of our teams.
Reviews a company's policies, procedures and functions to find areas of improvement.
Creating databases for data storage and future access. Responsible for database and reporting tool communication.
Presenting data and recommendations to Business Ops & Strategy Lead
Tracking the progress of operational changes that are implemented across the company through key performance indicators
Essential skills:
Knowledge of digital tools, MS Office, Task Management, Project Management, Collaboration…
Personal or professional experience in digital environments (e.g. using to-do list apps, cloud solutions to store documentation, task management (Trello, ClickUp …) etc)
You are a person that organises the duties through digital tools and only uses pen and paper when there is no other solution
You have experience with reporting tools (Tableau, powerBI, Pentaho ...)
You are inquisitive, proactive and have the curiosity to learn and improve. This is a highly dynamic role and will require great levels of energy and proactiveness.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong multitasking and time management skills
