The Role:

As the Business Intelligence Lead, you'll bring a background in data visualization and analytic solutions. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will immediately affect and build our data acquisition and business intelligence strategies. You will show up each day obsessing over our challenges and drawing on creative thinking skills and collaborative nature to develop tangible data solutions. The daily responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to convert business questions and high-level data collection needs into reporting requirements while promoting a self-service analytics environment with domain and tool expertise. You will support the Analytics and Data Science teams on our journey through digital transformation.

What You'll Do:

• Influence and grow Business Intelligence practice

• Provide expertise on data visualization tools, concepts, and best practices

• Coordinate with team members in Analytics, Data Science, and Technology to identify best practices, policies, and procedures for data usage

• Facilitate complex data requirements from start to implementation

• Create and iterate dashboards, reports, and insights to important partners across the organization and to external customers

• Collaborate with Information Technology and team members on self-service analytics enablement

• Willingness to be hands-on gathering requirements and with dashboard creation

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Advanced (5+ years) experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

• Advanced (5+ years) experience with SQL

• Beginner (1+ years) experience building data pipelines

• Experience supporting a self-service dashboarding environment

• Experience learning modern analytics tools, technologies, and frameworks

• Work with cloud databases such as Snowflake or Redshift

• Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts

• Demonstrate Business Intelligence thought leadership through presentations at events such as meetups, user groups, and conferences

• Looking for new and innovative ways to use data
