KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Re-engineering existing reporting and migrating these on to a new reporting platform.
• Understanding Business Requirements and translating that in to Data/Data Modelling Requirements/Enhancements
• Creating new data products (dashboards, reports, alerts, data models, data extracts, etc) that are needed by Merchandising; full lifecycle from design to development to test and deployment
• Ensuring Integrity of Merchandising Reports/Data Products
• Support the exploration of data conflicts between core systems and the data analytics
• Facilitate/participate in reporting workshops with stakeholders and technical peers
• Ability to communicate technical capabilities to end users both verbally & through written documentation
• Document analytical output in appropriate formats (technical specifications, instructions, data cataloging)
• Exploring new ideas of improvements through comprehensive appropriate analysis
• Work with merchandising end users, peers and the IT department to develop data/reporting & analytics solutions
• Provide reporting administration and support

TEAMWORK

• Work with the Merchandising team to gather reporting requirements
• Work with the Analyst team to help support any reporting Issues
• Work with IT on BI/DI Tools
• Working with and responding to people internal/external to the business in a timely and appropriate manner

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience of creating reports on an end user BI tool
• Experiance in database languages, such as SQL, against large datasets
• Experience of common data analytics techniques, data exploration, data modelling and data visualization
• Ability to work with large complex data sets
