Essential functions of the role:

• Bridge the gap between those doing self-service analytics as business users and those doing advanced analytics as data scientists.

• Creates or generates models that leverage predictive or prescriptive analytics, but whose primary job function is outside of the field of statistics and analytics.

• Aim to make data easily accessible and to optimize their organization's big data ecosystem

• Influence business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.

• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance.

• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.

• Work in conjunction with data science teams, improving data transparency and enabling businesses to make more trustworthy business decisions

• Responsible for bringing together information from different source systems into consolidated data structures

• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions

• Develops tools and reports to assist business user's analysis

• Traces root cause and troubleshoots until fixed when outages occur

• Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products

• Builds strong working relationships with numerous cross functional teams

• Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators. Explains causes of unexpected variances in trends.

• Performs Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis, compiles and prepares reports and graphs.

• Analyzes various data elements to assist with improving Key Performance Indicators.

• Integrate, consolidate and cleanse data for use in analytics applications

• Support daily/weekly processes/jobs

• Creates training and process materials for new and existing systems as needed and assists peers with learning new systems

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 3 years experience in Data Analytics

• Bachelor's Degree - Business or IT related field (preferred)

• Experience with SQL and AppScript(JavaScript) (required)
