Position Summary:
The Business Integration Analyst serves as a liaison to the business’ functional departments and the IT organization. The Business Integration Analyst will gather and understand complex business problems and provide the appropriate translation into detailed business requirements. The Business Integration Analyst will perform project management tasks and collaborate with the information technology team through the analysis, development, and testing phases. The Business Integration Analyst will coordinate with IT and the business functions to ensure that technology and processes are implemented according to Reyes Holdings IT standards.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Convey business goals to the data professionals who will create the models and solutions. Work with data team to identify data sources, variables, and modeling approach appropriate for specific use cases.
Guide the IT development team during the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases (SDLC). Acts as a liaison to IT and the business functions during the business requirements phase. Provides for the collection of business needs and the transformation into formal business requirements documentation.
Support the business design for the end state solution while interacting with both business and IT functions.
Analyze change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements and processes.
Provide for project management tasks in addition to business analysis accountabilities. Inform and communicate to both business and IT on task completions, and risks. Coordinate testing, implementation and approach, training, and solution deployment.
Review and evaluate current business processes to insure they are effective and efficient. Provide direction to automate, redesign systems, or processes where applicable.
Maintain all documentation, including business and technical application requirements, report requirements, and support documentation.
Design data visualization reports where appropriate for story telling (Power BI, Tableau, ThinkCell, etc.).
Ensure that the insights generated through analytics are contextualized and translated into impact, supporting organizational objectives.
