Business Information Consultant I is accountable for enabling sustainable business growth and performance through aligning business strategy, information reporting and information delivery. Responsible for translating business needs/use cases into requirements for data and information delivery outputs. Manage demand and capacity to meet business needs and timing.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partner with key business leaders to understand strategic initiatives, capture business needs and priorities, manage demand intake and ensure delivery of outputs 

2. Partner with data team to research, analyze, design, and/or maintain data sources in information systems in support of projects, information needs, and changing requirements

3. Perform analysis and validation of reporting outputs

4. Execute data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance processes

5. Develop business requirements for reporting capabilities and data needs to deliver bespoke solutions with timely and relevant business intelligence and insights.

6.  Accountable for on-time delivery of initiatives in collaboration with business and technology partners

7. Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant role in larger, more complex initiatives

8. Explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\'s Degree

2. 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

3. In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.)

4. Ability to explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders

5. Experience managing small projects

6. Knowledge of industry\'s competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market

7. Ability to interact and communicate with senior business leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master\'s Degree or MBA

2. 6 years of related experience

3. Previous experience in the banking industry
