Business Development supports the segment’s reinvention by moving the portfolio north so 25% of Mars Wrigley revenue is from quality growth adjacencies such as H&W Snacking, Immersive Experiences, and emerging geographies. The Business Development Senior Manager supports all inorganic efforts toward this goal including M&A, partnerships, and alternative (equity based) arrangements.

What are we looking for?

• Demonstrated PMO capabilities

• Financial acumen and modeling experience in transaction context

• Understanding of emerging markets dynamics

• Familiarity with food and beverage /consumer package goods

• Strong oral/written communication skills combined with a professional demeanor 

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Provide program management across all transaction workstreams including:

• Ensure interdependencies are understood and managed for joint business planning and operating model set-up for ongoing GEM (Global Emerging Markets) initiatives; may require extensive international

• Own timelines and supports Corporate Development Team on timely inputs from external advisor network including tax, accounting, legal, and financial

• Provide analytical support and market research to determine market sizing, size of prize, and anti-trust issues for specific M&A / partner investigations

• Commission and oversee consumer diligence (e.g., social media scraping, qualitative research) in support of specific M&A / partner engagements

• Translate strategy into compelling communications that enroll key stakeholders in the segment and broader enterprise

• Support the financial and operational integration of acquisitions to ensure that Mars Snacking delivers the value from acquisitions
