Responsibilities:

  • This position will develop and improve workflows and operational support systems in support of product performance goals. Work through process improvement goals.
  • Ensures product meets expectations of external (regulators, providers, members, vendors) and internal customers.
  • Work across business areas by building and leveraging strong relationships. Identify and mobilize cross-functional support required to achieve business objectives, including areas of tactical and strategic support.
  • Creating and managing cross functional project plan development and execution, internal and external data analysis and reporting, understanding contractual and regulatory aspects and details of execution, serving as SME for operational aspects of implementation.
  • Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization; works with market, corporate, and shared services area to prioritize and implement
  • Elevate risks, communicate dependencies, and recommend alternative solutions in timely manner that allows for mitigation and/or strategic reaction.
  • Prepare and deliver routine reports to market and corporate leadership related to DSNP product performance
  • Shape the culture of the organization as it adjusts to an ever changing marketplace. Promote an organization that strategically builds the business and client relationships, has a long-term vision in the market, and rewards/ encourages accountability while recognizing individuality and diversity.
  • Works with Medicaid and Medicare teams to ensure program requirements are met from RFP/ application through implementation, and leverage all resources available to achieve objectives.
  • Strong understanding of DSNP state regulatory requirements
  • Select and build strong teams through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring and other development technique
  • Compile updates and track trends on state and federal legislation and regulations impacting Cigna plans and products and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Create market analyses of preferred and non-preferred  states for future expansions

Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent experience

Preferred to have 8-10 years of knowledge in health care industry, project management, workflow mapping, and strategic thinking skills.

Strong presentation skills in order to articulate, clear messaging

Experience and comfort level in communicating with VP level and C-level contacts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong experience with strategic work and planning

Detail oriented and organized

Demonstrate strategic business decision making experience

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and Excel

Superior analytical and problem solving skills.

Strong focus on book of business client satisfaction and client retention results.

Demonstrated strong project management ability

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
