Fidelity Labs is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a newly founded startup. The startup’s focus is building innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients.
As this startup’s 2nd sales hire, this is a mission critical role with significant opportunity to grow. You will work closely with the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Senior Leadership Team to strategize and execute on our early growth initiatives. You will lead prospective customer research, outreach and exploratory conversations to qualify new opportunities.
This position is ideal for someone who is interested in fintech and startups, can thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and has a desire to build a career in sales.
The Skills You Bring
Strong experience as a Business Development Representative/Sales Development Representative, Account Executive, or other high volume sales experience
Experience in the SaaS, Tech, or Financial Services industries
A strong track record of hitting activity & meetings booked goals
A motivated and hungry competitor, with a desire to meet the challenge of sales at a ground floor startup

Lead sales pipeline generation and manage early sales funnel activities
Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails and social media
Connect qualified opportunities to the Director of Sales and arrange demos
Develop campaigns and best practices to deliver effective and repeatable outbound sales results
Join a “pre-launch†startup and have opportunities to learn and collaborate on all areas of an early growth business
Learn the ins and outs of the financial services industry – by consulting with financial advisors, and working within the FinTech incubator of a financial services industry leader
