Our client based in Billericay are looking for a Business Development Officer to join their sales team on a permanent basis. This role will suit someone who is keen to learn and is specifically looking for a career in sales. You will require confident communication skills and the drive and resilience to cope with customer rejection in order to flourish in this busy sales environment.

The main focus of your role will be to make 400 out-bound sales calls per week to source new business opportunities for the company. You will build a sales pipeline, track and manage the complete sales process, gather market and customer information, listen to customer requirements and gain a clear understanding of what the customer needs.

There is extensive customer liaison by telephone, email and social media. You will learn how to challenge customer objections with a view to coming away from the call with a sale. You will record successful sales on the CRM system and carry out related admin duties.
