We are looking for a new Business Development Manager, in this role you will personally own the new business growth target, manage and create new, profitable revenue streams across all Veredus Assessment and Design services, and working with the psychology and delivery team to ensure delivery against timescale and budget.

Consulting with prospective clients to understand their key business and talent challenges, creating a clear and articulate vision of how Veredus Assessment & Design can add value.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and own the new business growth target for the Assessment and Design Team.
  • Personally develop, implement, and monitor client acquisition plans, achieving growth targets and increasing service penetration across all capability areas.
  • Identify new client’s sales/bid opportunities, and lead the sales/bid process as directed, to achieve agreed targets.
  • Ensure that strong relationships are built to meet/exceed client expectations and achieve budgeted revenue and margin targets.
  • Ensure we always put the ‘best team’ and ‘best solution’ forward for each sales opportunity.
  • Ensure we correctly diagnose and understand client business and talent needs, design the best solutions to meet that need from our different capability groups, always adopting a ‘best team’ approach for delivery to the client.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to demonstrate genuine sales growth and development within similar solution-based sales organisations
  • A track record of performance, achieving challenging business and sales targets on a consistent basis
  • Experience of developing and implementing multi-channel sales strategies
  • Strong business development management background gained within a B2B solutions led and consultative business sector
  • Good presentation skills – up to Board level
  • Proven negotiation skills
