Job Description

This role requires a confident, well rounded and dynamic individual with proven business development experience working with blue chip companies along with change management knowledge and capabilities. Reporting to the Head of Projects in our Regulated Services business this individual will be responsible for leading the business development activities within projects, developing a strategic sales plan and work in collaboration with Capita Group providing portfolio sales to contribute towards the successful conversion or prospects to clients. The individual must have a demonstrable ability to work across all levels of stakeholders and third parties within a commercial environment.

Job Description:

What you will do:

  • Developing a compelling strategic sales plan and propositions to take to market

  • Support the executive in growing PRS external to Capita and our own Division

  • Establishing relevant governance and controls and provide regular progress updates to Senior Management

  • Successful achievement of agreed business development outcomes (sales targets, KPIs)

  • Actively supporting development and approval of any future sales & business development business case and annual business plans as required

  • Own ongoing relationships and related account management activities

Your experience will include:

  • Proven business development experience in the financial services sector with a successful track record working with blue chip companies

  • Good knowledge and understanding of projects and programmes and how they operate

  • Extensive and strong business acumen with an ability to quickly understand market trends

  • The gravitas to engage effectively with director level and decision-making executive

  • Demonstrate effective and productive stakeholder management both internally & externally at all levels and with third parties

  • Highly motivated with client outcomes as a key focus
