Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Training and Certification Business Development Manager to join our thriving training community and growing business in France as part of the EMEA Commercial Sector team.
Our Commercial Sector teams help customers build a deeper understanding of hyper-scale cloud technology and application architectures, and they have the consultative and leadership skills required to drive deliver successful outcomes.
As an AWS Training and Certification Business Development manager, you will have ownership of the training and certification relationship with customers – working to make them successful. You will be building training solutions and programs that are designed specifically to meet customer’s needs, ensuring they can leverage the significant benefits available from the AWS platform and services. This may be as simple as providing a number of classes to the customer or using training to drive a full digital transformation.
Internally, you will be working with AWS account managers, territory managers, and various stakeholders to ensure the visibility and understanding of the Training and Certification value to your clients. Training is an important customer enabler that allows customers to quickly adopt and optimize their engagement in the cloud. The greater the customer skill level the more they gain from their investment and the faster they differentiate themselves from their competitors.
In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define cloud adoption and upskilling programs with the worldwide AWS Training and Certification community.
You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, and evangelize and educate about AWS Training and Certification.

Key job responsibilities
Align priorities between T&C sales leadership and field sales
Enable account teams and customers to execute T&C programs
Develop new sales strategies and programs with account teams
Conduct needs assessments with customers
Develop detailed solutions and proposals to accelerate the adoption of AWS services
Maintain a strong relationship with customers and vendors to ensure flawless execution of plans
Evangelize AWS Training & Certification at company and industry events
Build & maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular forecasts for each program
Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management
