Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.

  • Seek out the appropriate contact DMU (decision making units) in an organization.

  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.

  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.

  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.

  • Ensure targets been achieved in time.

  • Ability to carry our product demos and explain the company values to the client.

  • Accurately forecast the revenue and periodically present to the management with strategies to achieve them.

  • Draw up effective Strategy/Account plan to close the deals while ensuring to overcome bottleneck/challenges.

  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them.

  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.

  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.

  • Negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers in some cases.

  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.

  • Initiate and assist the marketing department to generate brochures, marketing messages, campaigns, events etc to ensure the company and its products are positioned well with the target market.

  • Prepare proposals and related documentations that would be part of a sales cycle.

Requirements :

  • Proven work experience as an BDM with minimum 3-4 years of experience.

  • Experience in an international ERP product selling.

  • Exposure to Cloud Computing, Cyber security would be an added advantage.

  • Proven track record of closing high value deals (Over USD 100k deals).

  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular).

  • Good with numbers and having a good business acumen.

  • Thorough knowledge of Technology trends.

  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects.

  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.

  • Qualification in Marketing or relevant field.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Experience in Solution selling than box product selling.

  • Honest, hardworking and integrity with positive, energetic attitude.

  • Willingness to travel 40-50%.
