The Business Architecture and Planning – Services Modernization team understands the E2E Service Modernization Offerings. The team ensures that all technology strategies developed by IT deliver exactly the amount of value specified during inception. They own the IT project prioritization, business architecture, sequencing, and technology governance processes for all aspects of business they support.

What you will achieve

The Services Modernization Business Architect is key to the inception, planning, and sequencing of technology and serve as a key partner to the business they support.  The core aspect of this role is to translate strategy and the customer journey into technical goals and capability increments focusing on case management and work order capabilities and the service offers they support.

You Will

• Work to ensure alignment between business strategies, customer journey, and the information technology roadmap throughout the project lifecycle
• Identifies business drivers and anticipates future business and technology requirements
• Exhibits a high level of professional flexibility and volunteers innovative new and creative ideas
• Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and the potential application to the business strategies
• Strategic planning and project analysis in conjunction with segment, domain and other solution and enterprise architects
• Owns the creation and management of business architecture slideware, simplifying a complex subject matter for leadership to understand and absorb the capability journey.

Essential Requirements:

• 10+ years of related experience in business architecture, product/solution areas and customer needs and usage
• Deep level knowledge of the services lifecycle
• Ability to manage cross functional teams to define the product/solution definition and requirements
• Capability to clearly communicate business and architectural matters and build relationships with decision makers
• Well-honed listening, negotiation, and communication skills
• Prior success interacting with architects and analysts with diverse personalities and points of view
• Experience in business systems architecture and defining solutions in complex business areas, with a demonstrated ability to create the implementation roadmap for solutions
• Services Support business and operations

Desirable Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related Business field
• Business Process Certifications (BPM/Lean Six Sigma)
