Job Summary:

The Business Analyst focuses on the use of information and analytics to improve healthcare delivery and optimize consumer and provider focused business processes. This position is responsible for the reporting, moving, and loading of data from vendors and business systems into internal networks and programs.

Daily work involved requires the creation and execution of queries against business systems, developing reports, dashboards, and other custom tools using said data. They will be responsible for the extraction and analysis of health care provider information, evaluating, writing, and presenting reports (compliance, inventory, progress). Support business operations for internal and external customers in an effort to facilitate compliance and improve the quality of services provided to members and providers. This individual is responsible for data research using multiple sources of data and analyzing algorithms. The individual will be required to work on projects with others within the department and within internal networks. Additionally, they will be responsible for using programming to pull out data and interpret it in a way that is meaningful and effective to the project or task at hand.

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma plus Coding Certification required; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of Programming experience
• Must have strong SQL, Excel, and Microsoft Access experience.
• Experience using Visual Studios and Coding in one or more of the following: C#, Visual Basic, Java Script, or Python, is a Plus
• Experience developing custom software solutions, is a Plus
• Must possess strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
• Analytical mindset
• Ability to work and help promote change within the department and across networks effectively
• AWS (Amazon Web services) experience is a PLUS
• Setting up API’s (Application Programming Interface) is a PLUS
• SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience is a PLUS
• QNXT or other healthcare payer system (FACETS, QCARE) is a PLUS
• Microsoft SharePoint skills and experience is a PLUS
• SAS experience is a PLUS
• Excel Power Query & Power BI experience is a PLUS
• DAX coding experience is a PLUS
• 10% or less travel required

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
