Summary

This position is responsible for the analysis, creation and distribution of information and insights via dashboards and self-service applications. The role requires experience of taking business questions and requests, understanding how that relates to data, delivering automated solutions that meet the business needs, and support them with end users. This role also has an emphasis on user experience and UI design, with a focus on implementing high quality visuals in user facing analytical outputs.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance the visual aspects of various analytical outputs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and more
• Work with users and stakeholders to determine optimal ways to communicate analytical results to non-technical users and clients.
• Development and execution of complex SQL queries to create key insights and KPI-based reporting. Draws recommendations from insights for business-facing customers
• Leverage VBA within Microsoft Office products to automate reporting and generate analytic outputs
• Contribute to the design and development of business reporting and data analytics based on business requirements
• Being adept in the display of quantitative information through charts, graphs, tables and other visualizations
• Working with internal data resources to ensure you have the data you need to provide quality analytics
• Review and analyze results, assisting other business areas with issue resolution
• Collaborate with business users and internal teams to drive decision making to ensure that business needs are being met
• Provide support as required to ensure the data availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for users
• Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed
• Work on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR 2-3 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree
• Experienced in writing and understanding/modifying complex SQL queries
• Experienced in designing UIs and other visuals for data analytical outputs. Examples include user forms/controls, application interfaces, charts, tables, presentations, and more.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint. VBA, formulas, pivot tables, etc.
• Ability to provide innovative, practical, and consistent technical and analytical solutions
• Experience in Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines via team collaboration
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and applications
• Highly organized with strong documentation skills
• Works well as a member of a team
• Familiarity with health care or PBM industry is a plus
• Link to a portfolio of technical design work is a plus

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $73,700 - $122,900, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
