Job summary

The Veeqo team is looking for an experienced and highly-motivated Business Analyst that thrives in a fast-paced environment to help support the rapid growth of our business. As a Business Analyst, you will help build the analytical foundations for our Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Support, and Customer Success teams. This role will generate actionable insights and perform business analysis activities that will guide operational excellence, helping our teams meet and exceed customer expectations. As well, this role will own & develop standardized business reporting and processes, ad-hoc reporting requests, financial projections, as well as in-depth analyses. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, collaborative, detail-oriented individual with advanced Excel skills as well as experience reporting with SQL, with a proven record of turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
· Help build the data and reporting structure at Veeqo, working cross-functionally with other teams
· Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing & ad-hoc metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses that deliver actionable insights
· Understand the (often) ambiguous business problems, identifying root causes and communicating findings effectively for multiple levels of stakeholders
· Leverage data to increase the efficiency of our programs working closely with the go-to-market teams to drive optimization
· Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting, analysis, and data visualization (data integrity, experiment design, analysis, validation, and documentation).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, Operations, Finance, or related field
· 3+ years relevant experience in a business analyst, growth analyst, or data analyst role
· Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
· Experience using Excel for data analysis and modelling
· Experience gathering business requirements, using SQL to extract data, formulate analysis and build reports

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Advanced experience with SQL, ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
· Communicating insights and findings with senior stakeholders
