The Capita TfL account currently manages a portfolio of change delivery which is comprised of programmes to deliver specific contractual change to TfL plus a small/BAU Change programme. Each are complex and interdependent and are co-ordinated through governance and control mechanisms both internally and with TfL. The Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for delivering business analysis elements to ensure successful delivery of workstreams to agreed time, cost, and quality standards. The individual must have a demonstrable ability to work across all levels of stakeholders and third parties within a commercial environment.

- Requirements – Own the requirements delivery through the project lifecycle into and including testing/quality assurance stages and activities.
- Business Process Modelling –Map out AS IS and TO BE processes and conducting impact assessments on the future state.
- Communication – Act as and interface between the business areas and project teams and ensure effective communication exists between the Business, IT teams and the end customer during all phases of the programme and project lifecycle.
- Impact Assessment – Assess the impact of changes in requirements to the solution.

- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with knowledge of the full project life cycle.
- Previous experience working within regulated environments on major technology led change programmes.
- Can hit the ground running – It is essential that you can join a new Project and have the confidence and ability to become integral to that Project quickly.
- Strong understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies as well as have experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and presentation skills, with experience of running results driven workshops.
- Experience of using structured methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to work at a conceptual level where business objectives and requirements may not be well defined.
- Demonstrate effective and productive stakeholder management both internally at all levels.
- Builds productive relationships with functions and third parties outside of the project team.

You are collaborative:
- Taking on the Senior/Lead Business Analyst role within large Projects, which could include managing other Business Analysts to deliver a successful outcome.
- Engage business experts to understand current business processes and/or transitional and future requirements.
- Work directly with the Business Users and Client Representatives to ensure solution designs satisfy the business requirements and that the solutions are fit for purpose.
- Review and sign off on test approach, plans, criteria, and results to ensure traceability to business requirements.
- Reviewing and sign off on implementation plans where appropriate.
- Provide an interface between the business areas and project teams throughout the life cycle.
- Evaluate direct and indirect stakeholder's interest and influence to ensure the best possible outcome.
- Support the health of the portfolio by actively managing any assigned risks and issues.
- Engage with 3rd party solution providers in order to participate in the system design processes.
You are effective:
- Manage the requirements through the delivery lifecycle into and including testing/quality assurance stages and activities, driving down requirements derived failures and quality issue.
- Ensure requirements are captured in a structured format, that is referenceable and supports updates in an agile working environment.
- Develop the RTM for all functional requirements and contribute to the development of the RTM for non-functional requirements.
- Create and/or contribute to the project and service products/artefacts required, ensuring they are produced using Evolve templates and to the standard of quality expected.
- Gather and document the knowledge to support the transfer of services from their As-Is to To-Be state.
- Conduct Impact Assessments for changes to requirements.
