The Business Analyst is responsible for optimizing business and reporting processes within Ingredion’s Food Systems Platform to support the platform’s strategic positioning and financial targets.  This role will analyze, improve, train, monitor and report on processes that drive Ingredion’s food system strategy.   As a member of the Food Systems Platform’s business team, the Business Analyst is responsible driving specialties growth by ensuring internal processes are supporting our value propositions to our customers.

 Core Responsibilities: 

• Maintains a thorough understanding of how the Food Systems Business works, most significantly, the processes through which work is accomplished.
• Identifies and improves business processes that support the Food Systems value proposition.
• Trains key stakeholders and gains acceptance on newly defined or optimized processes.
• Ensures collaborations between the business and operations. Follows up with process-owners based on defined metrics/timelines.
• Analyzes and reports on business performance metrics including performance to growth, pipeline and strategic plan targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve metrics and define reports that provide senior stakeholders with clear visibility to business performance
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
• Supports customers’ opportunities by defining processes within the opportunity stages.  Supports GTM team by ushering opportunities through defined processes.
• Focuses on agility and working through bottlenecks.
• Ensures processes meet business goals.

Qualified candidates will have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum 2+ years of experience in business or process analysis.
• Excellent business analytical skills and solid financial acumen.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels of organization.
• Must be able to analyze financial results and assess impacts of business decisions
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP BW and BPC a plus
