Position Summary & Responsibilities
Amazon currently seeks a creative, dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join the EU Sustainability team in London, UK. · EU responsibility for analyzing data to help shape strategies and tactics for developing our Sustainability initiatives
· Develop key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall operational and financial performance
· Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights and present written business recommendations to the leadership in a clear and compelling way.
· Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
· Develop metrics to assess performance and drive improvement, providing clear, compelling management reporting on a regular basis.
· Responsible for the analytical reporting of the EU Sustainability Team
· Creating new innovative and insightful reports according to business requirements in a timely manner

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in in business intelligence, data mining, predictive analytics and statistical analyses.
· Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
· Advanced data analysis skills – e.g. database query construction, data warehousing, forecasting, data mining and experience in business analysis
· Advanced SQL, database, and business intelligence experience
· Experience in Tableau or other similar BI tool(s)
· Advanced SQL, database, and business intelligence experience
· Expert in MS Excel and VBA
· Record of delivering large analytical solutions with business impact.
· Superior communication and analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems and work well with cross functional teams.
· Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems and data mining

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications - Advanced Degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or related quantitative field or MBA with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis.
· Experienced working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
