We have embarked on an exciting, large scale digital transformation programme and are looking for talented and dedicated people to join the TUI Flight Marketplace team on the IT side (TFM-Suite). The TFM-Suite is TUIs groupwide common IT-platform providing all own airline and 3rd party flights, including ancillaries for own and secondary distribution across B2C and B2B channels.
Being part of the team “Core” within TFM-Suite, you will deliver business value through technical solutions in close collaboration with your team as well as stakeholders across Business and IT. This is a great opportunity to join a team of high-quality, innovative and like-minded people, who are driving the development of compelling cloud based solutions to contribute to TUIs global flight product strategy.
You will, in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, capture and analyse functional and non-functional business and technical requirements, being responsible for translating them into architectural blueprints that outline solutions to achieve business objectives.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Collaborate with business, airline partners and aggregators to enhance and improve current flight solutions for TFM Suite;
• Conceptual and technical work on basic core functions and architectural design of the TFM Suite;
• Quality assurance and further development of the TFM Suite components in cooperation with internal and external IT providers;
• Elaboration and further development of end2end processes and technical requirements in close collaboration with the business;
• Support the Product Owner and Technology Lead in the development and prioritization of user stories under consideration of various group wide influences in an agile environment.

ABOUT YOU

• Technical degree, business studies degree or comparable IT expertise and experience acquired on-the-job;
• Good capability of understanding complex system architectures in an international context;
• Experience in the application of agile methods (e.g. Scrum and Kanban);
• Understanding of known web technologies, standards and methods (e.g. AWS, APIgee, SOAP, Microservice Architecture);
• Customer and service orientation combined with good social and teamwork skill
• Basic understanding of flight products and processes is desirable but not required;
• Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial.
