Amazon Pay India Analytics team is looking for a strong Business Analyst to build robust data products for Regulatory and Compliance Requirements that help our diverse product/programs under Amazon Pay Product's Prepaid Instrument

Our team mission is to build best in class datamarts / data products that endure and speeds access to information and insight. As a business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring stability, Reliability of Data (Including SLA and Accuracy) of the reporting and also support on ongoing analysis needs Regulatory and Compliance teams. You will use a combination of programming, data mining and reporting platform ( Quicksight, Datanet) skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, has strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and driven by a desire to innovate in this space.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing datamarts, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools.
Own DataProduct team's Platform and Infrastructure , maintain single source of truth across various datasources
Plan for performance and heterogenous datastores
Recognise and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation

Key job responsibilities

1. Build Aggregates, new datamarts and own existing datamarts.
2. Understand Critical and Orange Data Pipelines and Maintenance
3. Author and Automate exception Reports
4. Analyze compliance breaches and report to Stakeholders on time (Manual or Automated)
5. Keep upto date on product changes, compliance requirements and necessary modifications to pipelines and REgulatory Requirements.


A day in the life

1. Understand Product and Business of 1P Instrument
2. Understand Regulatory Compliance Mandates
3. Author Exception Reports, Automated Rules to catch breaches and report to stake holders and Data Providers for corrective action, using automation.
4. Own and Create datamarts necessary for seamless functioning of Regulatory Compliance
5. Documentation and Process Adherence.

About the team

The Regulatory POD under Data Team's Platform Wing is the most critical, responsible and highly visible teams. This team will be working with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Data Providers, Information Security and Data Engineering Teams. This includes a steep learning and a rewarding career as Compliance is of super importance given that RBI has several mandates and this team ensures that the Org. complies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 1+ years of experience in financial/business analysis
· Experience with SQL or ETL
· Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience with coding, query development, and visualization – SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Redshift is a must.
. Query and performance tuning experience is a must.
. Designing and working with Fact / Dimensions.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, related technical field, or equivalent work experience
. Ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholder

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of Cloud computing Basics.
Exposure to AWS technologies (S3, Redshift Spectrum, Athena, Glue etc)
