Job Description
The Global finance transformation team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who can work with product manager and stakeholders to stand up a data platform in enterprise finance group.
- The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in performing business and data analysis in implementing large scale data platform and system integration
- The candidate must have 7+ Sql experience in performing data analysis and building data reports
- Experience in creating UX wireframes/mock ups
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodology (Waterfall and Agile)
- Experience in creating business process flow and data flow diagrams
- Ability to perform functional testing and coordinate with UAT testers to drive the data platform testing phase
- Strong written and communication skill to elicit requirement from business stakeholders
- Strong analytics thinking and problem solving
- Knowledge in Accounting and Finance domain
- Knowledge in AWS cloud
Additional skills (Nice to have)
- Certification in CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
- Reporting Tool: Power BI and Excel
Job Duties:
- Perform research and interviews to determine IT business requirements and then translate such into specifications for technical projects
- Drive business working session with stakeholders to facilitate business requirement
- Perform data analysis to drive data requirements
- Explain the business requirements to developers and validate the deliverables to ensure that meets business requirements
- Create business requirement document and functional specification document
- Create business process flow and data flow diagram for every use case
- Create mock screens based on input from business team to help development team
- Assist in business Change Management activities
- Collaborate with development team to execute functional testing and generate test results
- Collaborate with business stakeholder to coordinate user acceptance testing and build test reports
- Create test cases to perform functional testing and user acceptance testing
- Create training materials such as user guide based on the business use case need and provide training session to business stakeholders
- Build reports using appropriate reporting tools for business use cases as needed
- Help the project meet schedule, business and budget objectives
- Provide leadership assistant to several other analysts in planning, analysis and execution of plans
- Setup a process to profile the data create a solution working with IT and business
- Setup people and processes including relevant roles, responsibilities and controls, data ownership, workflows and common processes as needed
