Job Description:
The Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will be a key member of the Fidelity Corporate Accounting Team responsible for supporting Corporate Accounting’s on-going operations and modernization efforts. You will play an integral role working with technology resources and business partners to facilitate Corporate Accounting in meeting its modernization goals. In addition, you will have month-end close support responsibilities.
The Expertise and The Skills You Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems preferred
Minimum of three years’ experience in an Accounting or Business Analysis role
Strong curiosity about technology and systems
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet expectations
Ability to take on ad-hoc requests
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and expertly with all levels of management and business partners
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in today’s “remote†work environment and adhere to established deadlines
Knowledge of how financial systems and dynamic reporting tools work (i.e., Oracle, Power BI and Essbase) and are proficient in Excel
Alteryx or Tableau experience preferred

Work with business and technology partners to define the scope of problems/issues, in terms of business and/or system requirements and processes
Participate in backlog refinement sessions. Translate sophisticated business needs into clear, impactful, requirements. Research and evaluate alternative solutions
Collaborate with technology team partners to build comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches
Monitor month-end close activities for any issues
Support reporting and certification needs
Support account reconciliation administration
Serve as a resource to explain and bring up system issues
Streamline processes and enhance controls to develop improved results
