The Business Analysis Manager is an intermediate management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of business analysts supporting one large system or multiple systems and contribute to planning, resource planning, budget management and formulation of procedures
• Consult with business end users to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new projects and process enhancements
• Assist system change processes from requirements through implementation by providing technical knowledge to ensure efficiency
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions as duties as assigned, including performing quality control activities
• Work with internal parties to achieve business goals and negotiate with external parties as needed
• Provide evaluative judgments based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience

R&R –

• This is a Business Analyst role working in agile POD/Squad to lead the business requirements for technical implementation working closely with Product Owner
• Candidate would be involved in development of elaborated requirements in tandem with business and develop User-stories or FRD (Functional Requirement Design) documents
• Strong experience in validating testing and have quality product at early stage of lifecycle
• Work with partner systems to capture interfacing requirements at granular levels
• Regular interaction with business and operations
• Helping team for defects analysis from business standpoint and providing solutions for quick resolution.
• To deliver high quality software programs with development team
• Helping testers to build and execute test plans as per demand in Agile team
• Strong experience in Trade Services and Trade Finance

Specification –

• Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
• Person with 10-12 years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology; Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance is preferred
• Strong domain experience in Trade Finance; Working Capital and Trade Services
• Good to have Agile/CSM certified to work in Agile working group
• Well versed with SDLC life cycle having exposure to various Phases. Agile Experience is preferred
• Strong experience working with BDD tools –Cucumber/JBehave and hands-on E2E experience from writing feature files to executed test cases

• Technical / Functional Proficiency:

• Min. 8-10 years of working experience as BA in trade finance/Trade Services/Working Capital domain
• Good to have SWIFT knowledge
• Good experience in BDD – Cucumber/JBehave
• Strong expertize in SQL/Oracle/Java (good to have)
• Good working knowledge on testing business requirements and working with developer/tester hand-in-hand for quality deliverables
