This part-time paid internship allows a Business, Finance, Marketing or Computer Science undergraduate student the opportunity to experience a fast-paced business environment in one of the world's leading consumer products and pet nutrition companies. This position affords the candidate a unique opportunity to experience working within a global, multi-cultural environment, while still acquiring a degree. Interns have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in data analysis and experience with the latest business practices and cutting edge technology, including SAP - one of the largest comprehensive business software applications.

Learning opportunities may include:

• Strategic Analytics
• Exposure to SAP systems
• Exposure to Retail Environments – Pet, Vet, eCommerce
• Review current tools, systems and technology, and processes for efficiency and effectiveness
• Report usage reviews
• Help determine best data collection methods and tools
• Mentoring by Customer Development staff
• Exposure to various levels of management

Duration of the Intern Program:
The position is part-time during the school year (around your school hours) and during the summer.  Internships are typically 6 months in duration, with options to extend at the business' need and sole discretion.

Program Requirements:

• Current student with at least 12 months remaining before receipt of Bachelor in Business, Finance, Marketing or Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
• Availability to work 10-20 hours per week.
• Documentation of U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Competency and Skill Requirements:

• Strong aptitude in computer skills and logic.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions such as filters, pivot tables and lookup functions).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to creatively solve problems with a customer focus.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
