A day in the life
It's Monday. You kick off your week with an informal team sync to see how everyone's weekend was, your manager's dog makes an appearance to say hello. You have a productive week ahead of you, meeting with several partners based in the UK (various stages of development with one being a new launch and the other improving an existing popular experience). You have a couple of internal stakeholders meetings to ensure your product and developer feedback has been considered for the upcoming market launch. Meanwhile, you've been drafting a "get local" plan highlighting some think big ideas on how Alexa could be even more relevant to customers in the UK. While writing has never been a strong suit, it's important at Amazon and you know you have the support and tools you need to improve. While there is a long list of developers to work with and different ideas to pitch, you ruthlessly prioritize to ensure your net results tie back to getting more customers using Alexa everyday.

Job responsibilities
· Build and cultivate key relationships with Alexa content providers/developers and influence them to develop exciting and useful experiences for our customers
· Critique the current Alexa experience with fresh eyes and bring data-backed recommendations on how to improve the experience, including actionable steps on how to achieve this
· Deliver persuasive and high impact/ quality presentations or data-backed/customer insight driven documents to senior decision makers.
· Advocate internally for developer features and functionality that will help facilitate a world class Alexa customer experience.

· Years of sales and digital business development experience
· Comfort working with a broad range of tools including Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, Excel.
· Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive level relationships
· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at the executive level
· Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals
· Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
· Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans
· Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar
· Experience working with emerging technologies, especially speech/voice. Passion for voice is a bonus.
· Mobile, digital content, and apps domain experience a plus
· Demonstrated ability to champion and drive cross-functionally improvement initiatives
· Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills; ability to close high value deals
