We are looking to recruit four experienced building control professionals.
You will manage a number of areas of work key to establishing the Building Safety Regulator. You will help to develop policy and processes in emerging areas, to shape the new regulatory regime for the built environment.
The high-profile nature of HSEs policy work, and the rapid pace of activity, will require you to be politically astute, creative and able to act decisively to keep projects moving forward.
You will be expected to travel to meetings with stakeholders in the UK to build and maintain relationships; this may involve occasional overnight stays.
HSE is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive working environment and we particularly welcome BAME/disabled/LGBT+ applicants.
The main focus of the work will be to provide your building control expertise and experience to the Oversight, Competence and High-Rise Buildings workstreams. Your knowledge of the challenges faced by the profession will be significant to the development of the work to oversee the performance of the building control profession and drive improvements in building safety.
