Role purpose
The BSS Enterprise Architect is responsible for supporting the delivery of BSS solutions to local markets and other Vodafone entities, within the Group service delivery framework ensuring alignment with Vodafone strategy. 

This role will operate, providing solution architecture, across the full development lifecycle from analysis to delivery, resulting in quality and performance optimised solutions in each local market. 

The BSS Enterprise Architect will be heavily engaged with the local IT transformation programmes and will leverage their expertise to ensure final solution is the optimal for market. A key part of the work will be driving synergies and reuse of solutions best practice, and to quantify business benefits and savings as a consequence of each engagement, at the same time as enhancing our central knowledge to offer further benefits to subsequent local markets. 

All these aspects are driven by our Tech 2025 Strategy golden rules and principles, the BSS Enterprise Architect should be the ambassador and promoter of the strategy being vocal and guardian of its implementation for all markets, helping them to standardize their stacks through modernization of their legacies in the most efficient manner. 

Engagement with the leading vendors in the BSS space will also be a key responsibility for the BSS Enterprise Architect, who will be engaging with them to validate their product roadmap and its adherence to Vodafone Tech 2025 in conjunction with markets modernization strategy, evaluate and qualify the maturity of vendors BSS Portfolio solutions. 

Additionally, the BSS Enterprise Architect will expand beyond the BSS space and incorporate the best practices defined by both Digital and Integration teams to propose E2E solution to the markets.
 

Apply if you have: 
Extensive in-depth knowledge of vendor CRM, Billing, Order Management and Product Catalogue solutions, plus knowledge of the surrounding products such as CPQ and SFA.
Practical experience of Enterprise and/or Solution Architecture and implementing domain applications. 
Excellent architecture and virtual team management skills with proven delivery in the architecture space.
Able to communicate and influence effectively with local market business and technical representatives.
Good technical background, applied thinking and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex/technical issues to meet the audience’s competency level
Communication with all levels of stakeholders, including SLT (CxO level).
Experience with cloud computing, microservices architecture and digital transformations.
Knowledge of TOGAF 9.x.
