Job Summary-

The Quality Auditor is responsible for working independently in a fast-paced team environment; reading prints and work instructions, reading and completing process sheets, and having computer skills while maintaining a safe working environment for all.

Primary Responsibilities-

  • Development and maintain quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products..
  • Development and initiate standards & methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Devise sampling procedures & designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
  • Directs employees engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
  • Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to complete successful audits and troubleshoot any discrepancies that arise
  • Knowledge of 5S and safety standards
  • Familiarity with using hand and air tools
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to train other employees and multi-task
  • Have knowledge about kits
  • Knowledge of procedures, instructions and documents as it relates to the quality system
  • Ability to identify short stocks and reporting procedures
  • Possess working knowledge of computer software applications along with strong record keeping abilities

Education Requirements – High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements – Lift up to 25 lbs up to 25% of shift

Travel Requirements – 0% - 10%. 

Other Requirements-- Must be available to work overtime and work a flexible schedule.
