This role is responsible for assisting in administration and implementation of compensation programs, policies, and procedures and is responsible for delivering consistent, market-based compensation programs across Brunswick Corporation.  The Compensation Analyst will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to various aspects of compensation, including global compensation administration, equity administration and compliance. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Evaluate market competitiveness of organization’s jobs and programs and make compensation recommendations
  • Assist in administering the merit planning and annual bonus process
  • Consult with divisions on compensation issues and opportunities
  • Maintain compensation configurations as it relates to Workday HRIS.  Works with the HRIS team regarding requirements and testing for new functionality/upgrades to compensation-related system enhancements
  • Prepare and complete Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) loads to update various employee compensation elements in Workday HRIS
  • Support the execution and administration and providing analytical support for a variety of compensation policies and programs
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
  • Assist with the preparation and review of Brunwick’s annual Proxy statement
  • Provide key support for the management of the company stock plan administration in partnership with the third-party vendor
  • Conducts, participates in, and analyzes salary surveys, when necessary
  • Partner with Finance team to prepare, review and verify bonus and equity forecasts
  • Ad-hoc requests as needed

Job Specifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-3 years of compensation, human resources, accounting or finance experience
  • International or equity compensation experience is a plus
  • Technical savvy; proficiency using Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel and Word) is necessary, including the use of pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Familiarity with Workday HRIS system a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks is crucial
  • Strong decision making, organizational and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as it relates to employee compensation matters
