YourRole & Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and driven CMImanager toco-create and evolvethe Elida BeautyMarketing Team. This role requires working with multiple partners, our DigitalHub, R&D,and the whole of the Elida Beauty team – we are allrefounderson this exciting new adventure.
Exciting and fast-paced, in this role you will be expected to lead projects & initiatives on your own. Identification of category growth opportunities is at the heart of the role (benefit segmentation, market development models, white space identification, innovation strategy & thinking, competition reviews, brand reviews, pricing and fuel for growth, recessionreadiness.to name a few specific initiatives). The role also brings inspiration and provocation to business leaders on performance (key KPIs like market share, penetration) to guide them on where & how to win. In the category, weneedto drive a healthy balance of short term and long-term growth, this role offers opportunities and experience in driving both.
Your Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of the workplan for the brands, this includes identification and translation of consumer needs,insights,andbehaviorsto guide global brand strategy, communication,innovation,and marketing initiatives.(AndCD initiatives, we should say a few words on customer too)
Workingwith researchagencies to deliver insights, inspiration, provocation,transformation,and impact to the business
Ensure that Elida Beauty have the right strategy, insights, portfolio,purpose,and execution in place to maintain our leadership position and at the same time drive growth across the portfolio globally.
Identifies the research agency and tracking agency partners that the business unit will work with
Identifies new entrepreneurial faster methods of research
Works with and creates a knowledge flow with the digital hub ensuring that the relationship is strong and beneficial
Represents the voice of the consumer in all decision making in the business.
Provides superior consumer insight to guide portfolio innovation and communication.
Develops and implements Strategic Understanding Plans for brand and drives global Elida Beauty SUP activities.
Determines and implements the annual research programme for the brand, including budget management.
Manages primary research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, undertaking secondary data analysis as relevant.
Uses a wide variety of data sources to provide insights to influence business decisions and action.
Maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness of all market research projects.
Ensures that market/consumer knowledge is shared,understood,and acted upon within the team. 
Monitoring, analyses and course correction of innovation, execution, and communication projects.
Builds strong partnerships with Research Agencies and Business Partners.
Drives implementation of Unilever CMI andBPCCategory best practice.
Requirements
Strong experience of managing consumer insights research with proven track record and balanced skills on qualitative and quantitative research (concept, product, pack, STMs, Idea generation, comms development, Preview/Advert). Familiarity with multi variate analysis, modelling, digital, ecommerce is an advantage.
Extensive experience in / and thorough understanding of continuous research tools – ability to integrate findings from different data sources.
Basic understanding of finance – profitability,growth,and business case.
Good grasp of basic concepts in statistics.
Ability to distil powerful insights and recommendations from raw data.
Outstanding strategic thinking on the brand / category and futuristic consumer opportunities.
Team player.
Good track record in working with cross functional teams.
Proven ability to inspire, provoke and influence business partners.
Strong leadership and business partnering skills. Capability to foster positive, collaborative business partner relationships.
Passion for building consumers knowledge and brand love.
Highly skilled in MS office tools.
Confident speaker with strong communication skills.
Strong ability to handle several different activities simultaneously.
