      Job Title:  Skilled Mold Builder

      Reports To:  Tooling Shop Supervisor

      Department:  4070 PD&E Tooling

  Scope

      The ideal candidate for this position would possess knowledge and experience in the construction process of new product tooling. Their knowledge and experience would cover all aspects of tooling construction including pattern construction, mold lamination, steel bracing and final finishing. 

  Required Experience:

• Steel Shop (for Welder job profile only)
  • All aspects of metal working and welding (Welding certification, torch and plasma cutting, Mig and Tig welding, pipe bending, print reading, metal cutting machines)

  Physical Demand:

• Must be able to stand all day
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more
• Must be able to work with fiberglass and resins
• Must be able to wear a respirator and dust mask
• Must be able to wear safety glasses all day

  Education:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
