Tax Sr. Advisor

As a Tax Sr. Advisor, you will be responsible for preparation of federal/state returns while assisting in various other projects. You will work with various tax team members while focused on assisting with various tax projects and information.

Essential Job Duties

• Prepare federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns and the associated work papers to support the returns
• Maintains a professional relationship with audit staff and manages auditor activities to minimize audit scope and duration
• Responsible for complex projects associated with the maintenance of tax records and developing and implementing systems for tax reporting
• Coordinate, develop, issue, review and update tax accounting and operating policies
• Research tax issues and changes to federal and state income tax legislation
• Assist leader role in tax planning projects or process improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting. Master’s Degree in Business Taxation preferred
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant experience with ERP systems, tax engines and electronic tax reporting
• Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment
• International tax experience helpful
