Job Description

Our Sales Operations team is at the heart of developing sales processes and procedures for administering, fulfilling and communicating both online and offline orders.

The Boomi Partner Deal Desk Advisor, works with Boomi Sales Operations, Finance, Partner Success, Business Operations CPQ team to provide pre-sales and/or post sales operational support. This role touches all aspects of the partner sales cycle, including order fulfillment, document delivery, customer/order issues, and process improvement.

This position will support the day-to-day execution of partner deal management to ensure that all transactions meet internal policies and operational guidelines. A successful individual is a person that has a proven work ethic that drives the desired results, is willing to roll up their sleeves and can think on their feet. They thrive in a fast paced environment, always pushing to be the trusted advisor to partners and the partner sales organization in their role and taking ownership at every level.

What you’ll achieve
As a Sales Operations Advisor, you will enable clients to maximize returns on IT investments, drive efficiencies and reduce costs. You will play a meaningful role in meeting customers’ needs, as well as crafting and maintaining a global portal for customer accounts. You will build positive relationships, ensuring an outstanding experience for both our customers and our sales teams.
You will:

  • Collaborate with Boomi Partner success and Boomi Partners to create quotes using SFDC CPQ, Configure Price Quote.
  • Problem solving skills required to answer questions directing from partners and troubleshoot deals.
  • Review Deal structures, both standard and non-standard, including alignment between opportunity, quote, and invoicing systems.
  • Researches customer or order problems, and delivers solutions working cross-functionally to resolve.
  • After working hours commitment required at month, quarter and year end periods

Essential Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in a Deal Desk, Deal Management, Sales Operations function or similar responsibilities supporting a mid-to-large scale multi-geographical hi-tech Sales Organization.  Partner management experience is a plus.
  • Multiple years using SalesForce CRM and CPQ is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced and high-stress environment, and excellent cross group collaboration skill


Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

  • Experience working with sales and external customers or in support of different business units and geographies
