Job Description
The Team Leader will report to the Head of Maintenance and will work for the Maintenance and Small works (MSW) business stream which predominantly looks after service contracts, reactive works and small works. The role will be looking after a team of engineers based in Central England.
What will you deliver?
- Labour forecasting on a weekly basis as per the agreed time scales and dates
- Pricing project and extra works
- Engineer retention – through good personnel management, PDR’s etc.
- Assist in the recruitment of new employees
- Order book growth – Promote engineer field quotations and customer growth
- Ensure an adequate out of hours engineer coverage is available across the region
- Ensure an adequate staffing level is available for regional call out rota’s
- Technical help where necessary – Work with the Head of Maintenance to offer technical help to the team of field-based engineers
- Planning of resource – Ensure efficiency of labour resource and correct staffing levels

Who are we looking for?
- You will have a BMS background
- Supervisory experience particularly in the field of BMS service.
- HND in engineering would be an advantage.
- Competent in manufacturer’s equipment Trend, Siemens, Cylon or Priva.
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC plant and control applications
