Bloomberg is looking for an experienced Senior Producer with field production experience to join a 24/7 streaming news product. This person will work with our Bloomberg Green/ESG/Climate team of journalists. The primary focus for this role will be to oversee a weekly show with host and manage the post-production execution of final show product. You will have solid understanding, experience and knowledge of news and long form content and the digital space, and strong leadership and organizational skills. You will also have the ability to thrive under the pressure of deadlines and breaking news. This position requires flexible hours to accommodate production schedules, including weekends.
 
You’ll need to have:

•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
•  8 or more years overall production experience - background in sustainability preferred 
•  Strong editorial, writing, and production skills
•  Familiarity with digital video trends and producing content for multiple platforms
•  Experience working in a real-time news environment
•  Flexibility in working varied hours
•  Proven team leadership skills

•  Build out a weekly rundown, broken down episodically, focused on green initiatives and sustainability 
•  Produce stories from the field and studio
•  Work under pressure in a fast-paced creative environment
•  Recognize digital video trends that create successful video on social and within our streaming service.  
•  Work with Bloomberg reporters on video reports and explainers
