Please review the following job description:

Publish proprietary equity research in Biotechnology with a Genetic medicine and CNS focus.

1. Candidate will ideally have 2-3 years of equity research experience with desire to cover stocks in 2-3 years after joining the team
2. Candidate will ideally have expertise in genetic medicine space (genome editing, gene therapy, RNAi) and neuropsychopharmacology
3. Conduct deep dive research spanning genetic medicine and CNS, industry themes and companies. Write draft research commentary. Build patient-based market models 
4. Build & model company financial statements. Conduct financial and valuation analyses.
5. Maintain active dialog with representatives of covered and other relevant companies.
6. Obtain / maintain required licenses for the role: the SIE and the 7 Top Off (or Series 7 for those licensed prior to October 2019), Series 63, Series 87 and either the Series 86 or a FINRA waiver for those who have completed CFA II

Position Requirements
1. BA/BS degree in life sciences. Advanced life science degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years related work experience with undergraduate degree, or 2 years related experience with advanced degree. 3. Mastery of financial and accounting concepts 
4. Prior experience creating company financial models, and therapeutic product revenue forecast models.
5. Mastery of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
6. Advanced written and oral communication skills.
7. Strong analytical skills.
