Robert Half is looking for a well-organized Billing Clerk with an attention to detail for a position in the Service industry. This long-term contract / temporary to hire Billing Clerk opportunity is with a company in the Service industry and is based in the Concord, California area. As a Billing Clerk, your duties will consist of reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. If you are a self-starter looking to build your career, this may be the Billing Clerk job for you.

Responsibilities

- Form financial controls and procedures

- Obtain missing or correct data when necessary, after evaluating billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness

- Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency

- Evaluate, process, and review bills or invoices for services rendered

Requirements

- Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Outstanding data entry skills

- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

- Skilled in spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems

- Command of Microsoft Excel

- Solid understanding of billing

- Account reconciliation experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
