JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing technical support for the billing platform and other 3rd party applications. Research and respond to trouble tickets and provide expert customer support on trouble tickets received from Mobile Customer Care, Mobile Activation Center and Retail channels in a timely manner and in accordance to established SLAs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for timely and accuracy of mobile billing/charging of all rate plans, subscription charges, fees, taxes, etc.
Investigate usage file processing errors; make necessary corrections to usage files/records and place back into processing flows.
Mobile Discount Report Audit- Reviewing discrepancies between cable and mobile accounts to determine accuracy and discount eligibility.
Identify gaps and other issues that may result in leakage on usage, revenue shortage, over & under-billing/monitoring of potential fraudulent activities
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience and the needs of internal clients and projects
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to understand process flows
Ability to interpret service contracts as pertained to customer billing
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Familiarty with the customer credit process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact proficiency with peers, clients and other professionals
Ability to communicate issues and proposed solutions at an executive level
Ability to exercise accurate business judgment
Ability to communicate with all levels of company employees, vendors/service providers, customers and prospective customers
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize assignments according to timelines and importance of task
Ability to maintain poise and professional demeanor in stressful situations
Knowledge of CSG and ICOMS billing systems
Education
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, or equivalent related experience
Related Work Experience
2+ years of Contract review experience
2+ years of Business Analysis experience
2+ years of CSG and/or ICOMS experience
2+ years of Communications industry experience preferred
