We are looking for an experienced Big Data Systems Engineer/ Data Engineer to join huge Greek company.

Must have:

• 3+ Years experience with Linux OS systems installation• 3+ Years experience in Bash Scripting• 3+ Years experience in Linux IP L3 Network configuration• 3+ years of experience with storage systems (such as RAID, Common Storage, NAS, Software-Defined Storage)• 3+ Years of Linux Security Hardening and encryption (e.g. data encryption, Kerberos authentication, etc.)• 3+ years experience in Dev-Ops with Kubernetes• 1+ Year experience in Hadoop or other big data technology stack• 1+ Year experience in Java or Python• 1+ Year experience with Kafka• 1+ Year experience with Linux High Availability 

Nice to Have:

• Postgraduate degree in Data Analytics• Working experience with building disaster/recovery sites• Working experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud• System Administration Certification or experience with Cloudera CDH / CDP• Experience with any of the following Kubernetes platforms: Openshift, Rancher, k0s• Experience with IBM’s Cloud Pack for Data• Experience with DBs like Oracle Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.• Working remotely• 8-hours working shifts• Attractive compensation package;• Building successful cutting-edge technology products that are making global impact in service industry• Compensation fixed in US Dollars• Proficient and fun-to-work-with colleagues• Long-term employment with 24 working days vacation
